If you checked out my post about the ridiculous amount of plastic bottles Canadians consume then you saw the video from Brita's Filter For Good Campaign.
We have been Brita users for as long as I can remember. It started because I found the tap water tasted like bleach and well I like my water as cold as I can get it. Cold enough that it makes my teeth hurt but not so cold that it gives me brain freeze.
In an effort to help reduce the number of water bottles used Brita has offered our readers the chance to win a prize pack that includes their limited edition green Brita pitcher! We have 2 of these bad boys to giveaway so you have an even better shot at winning.
Due to shipping costs and emissions from transportation you must have an Canadian address to enter.
To enter do at least one of the following (#1 being mandatory). Leave a separate comment for each item that you do. I will use random.org to pick the 2 winners. Please make sure you also leave your email address.
1. Go to Brita's website and tell me what your favourite product is and why.
2. Take the Filter For Good Pledge
3. Tell me what you are doing (or have done) to reduce the amount of water bottles you consume.
4. Follow my blog using Reader or Google Friend Connect (on the left hand side of the blog)
5. Vote for me in the Top Mommy Blogs (button on top right)
5. Vote for me in the Top Mommy Blogs (button on top right)
The entry deadline is Friday May 21st.
I like the Ultramax Dispenser as we drink lots of water in our home so this would be very handy.

Hi Jen! I am a new follwer...great blog! I have one on the East Coast! I too have been using a Brita for as long as I can remember! I love having cold water on hand, and use the Space Saver at home!
ReplyDeleteI always have my Klean Kanteen stainless steel waterbottle on hand, and mutch prefer the taste of what from it to plastic!
ReplyDeleteI have taken the Filter for Good Pledge! I hope I win! I love the new Green Brita! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy email is alycia17@hotmail.com
I like the Vintage model as it contains enough water to last us a day without having to refill and keeping it in the fridge will mean the water is really cold.
ReplyDeleteI have stopped using bottled water except when needed to take meds which require it.
ReplyDeleteI really like the "Vintage" pitcher. I love the way it looks
ReplyDeleteI took the pledge! Button is on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI no longer by plastic water bottles.
ReplyDeleteI follow on GFC

ReplyDeleteI took the pledge!

ReplyDelete1. We drink lots of water in our home, so the Ultramax Dispenser would be my choice (its the product my parents have in their house).
ReplyDelete2. Took the Pledge
ReplyDelete3. Years ago I stopped buying the 500ml litre bottles, and now only buy the 4L bottle - my thinking was that there is less plastic in 1 big bottle compared to a bunch of little bottes.
ReplyDelete5. I voted for your blog
ReplyDeletei like the vintage and i wish we still hadd a Brita because then we could stop buying bottles
ReplyDeleteI love the Brita space saver. Although it is smaller, there is always room for it in the fridge and it's so easy to keep re-filling. Since buying our Brita we don't buy bottled water.

I like the aquaview faucet filtration system because you get filtered water just by turning on the tap

To reduce the amount of water bottles in our home I purchased reusable bottles for both my son and I. We buy the 4 ltr containers that you refill at the store so that we are not buying containers we need to dispose of
